Rain rain how I want you to stay,

You make my day take the long way,

You soothe my mood,

And humble my soul.

Oh how I love rainy days.

Falling from the sky with your gentle push,

The sound against my window make me shush.

And what you encounter before you fall too far.

You come and go but I want you to stay,
